Having purchased your above product at the beginning of November, I feel I must write to tell you how pleased I have been with the performance which has revolutionised the cleaning procedures in all areas of the hotel.

The anti-bacterial and cleaning properties of the product, coupled with it being odourless and colourless, makes it perfect for use in kitchens, dining rooms, bar and bedrooms – i.e everywhere.

Cleanitise

We have been using the Cleanitise Chemical at one of our sensitive research sites based in Cambridge for over 3 months following their request for increased cleaning requirements to help reduce the possible spread of the AH1N1 Flu virus (Swine Flu).

We have found the Cleanitise chemical to be extremely effective and versatile on a wide range of surfaces. Not only does it leave treated surfaces germ free, it also produces a clean, smear free surface. We are not only using it on high touch areas such as door handles and hand rails but for all cleaning applications on the site, including the laboratory floor areas. We have found it particularly effective in the toilet, shower rooms and kitchen areas even in areas involving a lot of stainless steel surfaces.

Our staff have found the versatility and effectiveness of Cleanitise extremely easy to use and due to the wide range of applications are using it as a sole cleaning chemical on the site with great results. We have also found that it is economical in use, especially when compared to other bactericidal products.

Although it is hard to measure the effect of containing the Swine Flu virus, our client is extremely happy with the results achieved with the chemical and the low level of swine flu cases reported on the site.

We are happy to recommend the Cleanitise product as the industry leading standard.

Dear Chris,

Thank you for sending the Cleanitise chemical and cleaning clothes. Donna and I have used the chemical in our home and found it to be extremely effective in cleaning, sanitising and removing grease. It is also reassuring to know that it also achieves 99.9% germkill. Donna also finds it to be far more gentle on her skin compared to retail products.  There are no overpowering odours during or after use, she finds this extremely beneficial particularly in confined spaces.

When I accompanied you during a test of the Cleanitise U.V. Black Light and the Cleanitise Chemical in a Winchester hotel last year I was amazed (as was the hotel owner) at the amount of protein that was disclosed by use of the system although the areas checked appeared clean to the human eye. Equally impressive was the 100% effective way in which the Cleanitise chemical then cleaned these areas completely.

As Director of BTA I would recommend use of this system in all cleaning operations where the risks of infection or 100% cleanliness are essential criteria.

As mentioned previously, we welcome Cleanitise as a Commercial Company Member of BTA – details attached. I wanted to write to thank you for sending through the Cleanitise product for use in our holiday cottage, and for taking the time to demonstrate the black light technology to me recently.

I am delighted to report that the product has been a total success within our establishment – it cleans extremely well, is gentle on the skin, and leaves no unpleasant odours whatsoever. Furthermore, my wife has commented that it is the only product she has found that leaves the black granite worktops streak free, even after being heavily contaminated with cooking fat.

Wearing my other hat (editor of the industry’s leading trade publication, Cleaning & Maintenance), I get to test a lot of cleaning products in the course of a year and confirm that this is as good as anything I’ve seen, and better than most. Hi Chris

Just a few comments relating to your Cleanitise cleaning product and our ‘domestic’ experience of it/with it!

Maureen informs me that it works wonders on tiles and other surfaces, particularly when used with your micro fibre cleaning cloths.

We will definitely be using this, in preference to other products, in the future. Puts the sparkle back into our cleaning!

My impression of your UV Black Light system to detect cleanliness of surfaces is limited to your most effective demonstration at The Wykeham Arms here in Winchester, when the manager (and I) were somewhat taken aback by your demonstration of how unclean various surfaces were – which, to the naked eye, looked satisfactory.

If the cleaning industry were to adopt such a system I’ve no doubt clients would be ’shocked’ every time and cleaning staff unable to avoid proper cleaning procedures in every location, whenever cleaned.

Where cleaning contractors are responsible for cleaning, the system is a ‘no fail’ quality maintenance procedure which, if used by clients, would certainly keep contractors on their toes!

Perhaps, in these tightened economic times, this would be a useful step in the right direction, promoting a measurable uplift in quality standards and therefore the perceived level of cleaning industry service in the wider market place.

One only has to look at the levels of service currently being practised by on-line retail suppliers (i.e. overnight delivery even on Sundays!) to realise that the cleaning industry needs to be seen to be ‘upping’ its profile to remain in the top league of nationwide service providers.

Staff training and motivation as well as management attitude and procedures are of course important but innovative products are very much part of the modern day solution, particularly where their benefits can be so vividly demonstrated – such as yours.

It is an increasing challenge for ‘ageing’ people like us to appreciate that Universities today are preparing students for jobs that don’t currently exist and for technologies that have yet to be invented in order to solve challenges that we don’t yet know about! The top ten ‘in demand’ jobs for 2010 didn’t exist in 2004! Sobering thoughts but the cleaning industry needs to be up there with the new technologists.

Keep up the good work and may your pioneering efforts be suitably recognised and rewarded.

Cleanitise – Product & UV Black Light System

Dear Chris,

Thank you for the samples of Cleanitise you gave me recently. I had already had some indication of its worth when you gave me the demonstration of both the UV System and the UV Black Light.

The demonstration alone gives some clear indications of the opportunities the system provides to the hygiene market. It was quite revealing how the light can show such effects of both what people regard as effective cleaning practices that are not and also the compound effect of using Cleanitise chemical afterwards. It was most impressive.

After we last met in March I have been using the sample products you gave me in my home environment. Naturally I always thought with my background and experience that the surfaces, particularly in my kitchen and bathroom were always of a high standard.

Since using Cleanitise products the surfaces are all clean as before but I do notice that the build up of grime and particularly the fungal growth on tiles and grouting does not reappear as readily and the surfaces appear cleaner for longer. Not having any specific scientific evidence available I couldn’t say this is totally due to the Cleanitise product but it certainly seems to have contributed to it.

Dear Chris,

I must say that when you invited me up to your hotel room I was a little taken aback to say the least! On completion of your impressive demonstration of the Cleanitise cleaning product and Blacklight I ‘got it’ straightaway – why you needed to demonstrate in your en-suite and Cleanitise’s high level of cleaning efficiency.

The fact that you can undertake ‘a before and after’ to show bacteria removal is extremely powerful – this should not only serve as a test for establishments to prove their levels of hygiene but would be an excellent support to cleaning companies when training operatives as to correct cleaning technique and procedure.

On a personal level my family and I have tried Cleanitise and we have been genuinely impressed with its all round cleaning performance. While adding effortless sparkle to the bathroom mirror, removing residue and grease from my kitchen worktops is also dead simple. Your product was put to the greatest test of all – my Italian mother-in-law. A typical house proud mamma, when she visits she cleans my house from floor to ceiling. On her last visit she used Cleanitise and awarded the product top marks!

Dear Chris,

Thank you for the samples- I was delighted with the results I achieved using Cleanitise to clean my home. It is kind to the skin and has no overpowering odour but shifts grease, dried-on food and residue around baths and sinks effortlessly. I was particularly impressed with the results on our composite stone kitchen worktops and stainless steel appliances, because many products leave smears behind, but Cleanitise does not. It can be used with a wrung out e-cloth on glass shower enclosures with no need to rinse. It’s effective and saves time rinsing – great for a busy GP and mother like me.

The UV Blacklight was an extremely effective way of showing up residual dirt both in the home and in a clinical environment. This is a very effective way to test the quality of your cleaning.

Removal of visible dirt is a vital step in infection control procedures and is often overlooked with too much reliance on use of antiseptic solutions etc. I think your cleaning and testing system could prove very useful in the fight to improve cleaning standards in hospitals and lower the rates of hospital-acquired infections. I don’t know if you have conducted any trials with the local microbiology department, testing before and after using the Blacklight and Cleanitise, but I think the results would be very interesting!
